Same same, but different! This is the essence of what a vertical tasting is: Tasting the exact same wine, but from different vintages!
In the vertical tasting on Tuesday, 21.10.25 at 19:00 Uhr, which SWAZ board member Rafael has curated for visitors, you get the chance to taste how the different weather conditions influence the flavour profile of a wine and how a wine matures in the bottle over the years. With the youngest vintage being 2021 and the oldest 2001, Rafael has gathered a lineup spanning 20 years! The wine in question is a left-bank Bordeaux from Chateau Laffitte Laujac, a medium-big producer with a yearly output of around 200 000 bottles.
