What is Schwarzer König?
Schwarzer König is a student-organized chess club based at ETH Zürich ( Room HGE41, Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zürich). The club offers weekly casual chess evenings and semester-part tournaments where players of all skill levels are welcome. Events typically run from 18:15 to 21:00 on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Registration for casual evenings is not necessary, you can just come whenever you want.
How to become a member?
Membership is open to all students and there is no membership fee for regular chess evenings. Simply turn up at the club’s session time or register online for tournaments through their upcoming events page. Remember that to participate in chess tournaments you must become a member. This fee is 5 CHF.
