About the event
The UZH Alumni Informatics association unites graduates and doctoral alumni of the University of Zurich’s Informatics programs. Founded in 1997 and part of the university’s wider alumni network, the association now connects more than 700 members across academia, industry and the tech community. Its goal is to maintain long-lasting relationships among alumni, strengthen links to the Department of Informatics and support the visibility and reputation of Informatics at UZH.
They offer a varied programme of activities that promotes both professional and social exchange. Members can take part in talks from industry experts, company visits, panel discussions and other events that encourage continuous learning and networking. Social gatherings such as brunches, business lunches, summer events and the annual fondue meet-up foster community spirit in an informal environment.
